| FastCarSpares is a spin-off from MatraMagic.co.uk and came about because of our 10 year collaboration with Politecnic of Grenoble, based in the Alps in South-East France.
Politecnic's involvement with rally cars goes back a long way. In fact one of the two Citroen BX 4TC prototypes - in-line engine 4WD N9T engine - was developed by Politecnic under Citroen's direction in 1983..
As well as a mutual interest in all things Matra, we also share an enthusiasm for modern French 'sports' cars, particularly those built by Peugeot before they lost the plot! Will has also owned a lot of Citroens from the amazing Ami 8 Van, through two fabulous GS's and three BX's to the sublime CX25GTI Turbo ll, without doubt the greatest saloon car ever built! We currently have a C3 which so far has demonstrated Japanese levels of reliability, a Matra built Espace 24v and a super frugal 406 HDi.
Starting with our range of rally body kits and original lightweight panels, we've just added Sybelle Fuel Injection and will be adding further interesting parts from the Politecnic list.
